North Carolina High School Basketball - Smoky Mountain knocked off by Cherokee

In Friday's non-league test, the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), by a score of 85-69.

Next, the Braves encounter the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 10. Cherokee will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 95-44 non-league loss to Swain County (Bryson City, NC).

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Black Knights come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Robbinsville beat Highlands (Highlands, NC), 67-42, in a non-league test.
