North Carolina High School Basketball - Cummings victorious over Jordan-Matthews

December 6, 2024: Siler City, NC 27344

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Cummings Cavaliers basketball team scored a good 59-51 triumph over the Jordan-Matthews Jets.

The Cavaliers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Buccaneers go into the 1A/2A Mid-Carolina contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Bartlett Yancey topped Graham (Graham, NC), 69-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Jets confront the Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 73-60 league loss to Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC).
