The Union City Golden Tornadoes basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Dyer County Choctaws to 57 in the Golden Tornadoes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Tornadoes now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Jackson Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Union City will confront a Eagles team coming off a 54-43 non-league win over Brighton (Brighton, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Dyer County falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Choctaws travel to Millington Central (Millington, TN) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 3-3. Millington Central lost 58-55 in their recent non-league game against Harding Academy (Memphis, TN)
