The North Linn Lynx basketball team scored 84 points and limited the host Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings to 48 in the Lynx league triumph on Friday.

The Lynx now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Alburnett for a Tri-Rivers game on Tuesday, December 10. North Linn will confront a Pirates team coming off a 49-31 league win over Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Edgewood-Colesburg falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to MFL MarMac (Monona, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 3-0. MFL MarMac won 64-35 in their recent league game against Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA)
