In Friday's league contest, the host Fairfield Trojans basketball team scored a close 57-55 triumph over the Fort Madison Bloodhounds.
The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
In their next game, the Bloodhounds confront the Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) in a Southeast contest, on Friday, December 13. Fort Madison will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
