North Carolina High School Basketball - Patton trounced by Freedom

The Patton Panthers basketball squad (Morganton, NC), was crushed 84-44 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC)

With the victory, Freedom advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Draughn (Valdese, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 1-4. Draughn lost 73-47 in their recent non-league battle against Burns (Lawndale, NC)

The Panthers now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Polk County for a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 battle on Tuesday, December 10. Patton will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 113-57 non-league loss to Landrum (Landrum, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-5.
