The Groveton Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Lin-Wood Lumberjacks to 47 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gorham for a Division IV game on Tuesday, December 10. Groveton will confront a Huskies team coming off a 52-49 league loss to Colebrook Academy (Colebrook, NH). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Lin-Wood falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Littleton (Littleton, NH) to confront the Crusaders in a Division IV game on Tuesday, December 10. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 0-0.
