Texas High School Basketball - Guyer holds off Mansfield Summit

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Guyer Wildcats basketball team scored a close 50-48 triumph over the Mansfield Summit Jaguars.

The Wildcats (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, South Grand Prairie nipped Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX), 60-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars confront the Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Mansfield Summit will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 64-32 non-league win over Westfield (Houston, TX).
