In Friday's league contest, the visiting Southland Rebels basketball team scored a big 78-33 win over the Lanesboro Burros.
The Rebels (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN). The Cardinals come into the A Section 1 contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, LeRoy-Ostrander was trounced by Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN), 78-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Burros battle the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics (Lyle, MN) in a A Section 1 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Lanesboro will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
