Iowa High School Basketball - Sergeant Bluff-Luton nips Le Mars

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors basketball team scored a close 66-60 triumph over the Le Mars Bulldogs.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA). The Lynx go into the Missouri River contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Lincoln nipped Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA), 87-55, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) in a Missouri River contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Le Mars will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Black Raiders go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 70-43 league win over Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA).
