North Carolina High School Basketball - South Stokes overwhelms McMichael

The South Stokes Sauras basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host McMichael Phoenix to 41 in the Sauras non-league triumph on Friday.
The Sauras now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Surry Central for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. South Stokes will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 84-48 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, McMichael falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Phoenix host West Stokes (King, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A Mid-State game on Tuesday, December 10. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-2. West Stokes lost 73-68 in their recent non-league game against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC)
