The Nevada Cubs basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host South Hamilton Hawks to 20 in the Cubs league triumph on Friday.

The Cubs now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Iowa Falls-Alden for a non-league game on Monday, December 9. Nevada will confront a Cadets team coming off a 67-48 non-league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Cadets record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, South Hamilton falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to confront the Eagles in a Heart of Iowa - Large game on Tuesday, December 10. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-1. Saydel lost 55-52 in their recent league game against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA)
