In Friday's league challenge, the host Walton Raiders basketball team scored a big 70-40 win over the North Paulding Wolfpack.
The Raiders (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mays (Atlanta, GA). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Mays trounced Drew (Riverdale, GA), 79-59, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolfpack encounter the Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. North Paulding will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
