In Friday's league contest, the visiting Okoboji Pioneers basketball team scored a big 81-51 triumph over the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals.

The Pioneers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Unity Christian (Orange City, IA). The Knights go into the Siouxland contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Unity Christian smashed Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA), 74-34, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Generals confront the Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) in a Siouxland contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Sibley-Ocheyedan will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Orabs go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 58-44 non-league win over West Sioux (Hawarden, IA).
