In Friday's league contest, the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys basketball team scored a big 71-48 triumph over the Page Pirates.
The Cowboys (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets go into the 4A Metro contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Western Guilford smashed Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 73-63, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates confront the Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) in a 4A Metro contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Page will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 77-55 league loss to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
