The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Plainwell Trojans (Plainwell, MI) and the host Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI), observed Plainwell's basketball team knock off Sturgis by a score of 52-34.

The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI). The Wildcats come into the Wolverine B challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Three Rivers dropped by Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI), 61-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Otsego Bulldogs (Otsego, MI) in a Wolverine B challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Sturgis will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 53-43 league loss to Niles (Niles, MI).
