Illinois High School Basketball - Wilmington victorious over Reed-Custer

In Friday's league contest, the host Wilmington Wildcats basketball team scored a good 43-35 triumph over the Reed-Custer Comets.

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Panthers go into the Illinois Central 8 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Manteno topped Peotone (Peotone, IL), 55-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. Reed-Custer will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 56-53 non-league loss to Coal City (Coal City, IL).
