The Walker Valley Mustangs basketball squad (Cleveland, TN), was nudged 41-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers (Chattanooga, TN)
With the victory, Boyd-Buchanan advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Notre Dame (Chattanooga, TN) to meet the Fighting Irish in a Division II-A East District 2 battle on Thursday, December 12. The Fighting Irish enter the battle with a record of 2-1.
The Mustangs now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McMinn Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. Walker Valley will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 69-34 non-league win over Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 6-1.
