In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Cor Jesu Academy Chargers basketball team scored a close 48-41 win over the Webster Groves Statesmen.
The Chargers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO). The Flyers come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Lindbergh edged Affton (St. Louis, MO), 84-20, in a non-league contest.
