The DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) basketball toppled the visiting Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL), 48-37 in Friday's league bout.

The Barbs now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host South Elgin for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. DeKalb will play a Storm team coming off a 41-32 league loss to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Storm record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Naperville North falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to York (Elmhurst, IL) to play the Dukes in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. The Dukes go into the bout with a record of 3-3. York lost 47-34 in their recent non-league bout against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL)
