In Friday's league contest, the host Holt Rams basketball team scored a good 47-39 triumph over the DeWitt Panthers.
The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Waverly (Lansing, MI). The Warriors go into the Capital Area - Blue contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Waverly was toppled by East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI), 67-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue contest, on Tuesday, December 10. DeWitt will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 55-34 league loss to East Lansing (East Lansing, MI).
