The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Duanesburg Eagles (Delanson, NY) and the visiting Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons Golden Knights (Schenectady, NY), observed Duanesburg's basketball team knock off Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons by a score of 34-19.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY). The Wolves come into the Section 2 Western challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville prevailed over Middleburgh (Middleburgh, NY), 49-8, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Knights encounter the Argyle Scots (Argyle, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
