In Friday's non-league test, the Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Summit Charter Bears (Cashiers, NC), by a final score of 63-26.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 9. Hiwassee Dam will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 44-42 non-league loss to Towns County (Hiawassee, GA).
