The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) and the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), observed Robinson's basketball team overwhelm South Rowan by a score of 61-23.

The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights come into the 3A South Piedmont challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Lake Norman Charter trounced West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 72-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. South Rowan will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Spiders come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 27-24 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).
