In Friday's league contest, the host Lawrence Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 79-19 win over the Mt. Blue Cougars.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Nokomis (Newport, ME). The Warriors come into the A North contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Nokomis was trounced by Messalonskee (Oakland, ME), 40-24, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Camden Hills Windjammers (Rockport, ME) in a A North contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Mt. Blue will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
