The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Maumelle Charter Falcons (Maumelle, AR) and the host Lee Academy Cougars (Marianna, AR), observed Maumelle Charter's basketball team overwhelm Lee Academy by a score of 43-17.

The Falcons (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverview (Searcy, AR). The Raiders come into the 3A Region 6 challenge with a 4-1 record.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Calhoun Academy Cougars (Calhoun City, MS) in a MAIS 2A District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Lee Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
