The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mae Jemison Jaguars (Huntsville, AL) and the visiting Lee Generals (Huntsville, AL), observed Mae Jemison's basketball team knock off Lee by a score of 36-28.

The Jaguars (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL). The Trojans come into the 6A Area 16 challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Hazel Green prevailed over Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL), 54-26, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Generals battle the Columbia Eagles (Huntsville, AL) in a 6A Area 16 challenge, on Monday, December 9. Lee will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 89-8 league loss to Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL).
