In Friday's league contest, the host Palestine-Wheatley Patriots basketball team scored a big 50-7 win over the Lee Trojans.

The Patriots (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against England (England, AR). The Lions come into the 2A Region 6 contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, England smashed St. Joseph (Conway, AR), 66-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Des Arc Eagles (Des Arc, AR) in a 2A Region 6 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Lee will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 44-36 league win over McCrory (McCrory, AR).
