Tennessee High School Basketball - McEwen overwhelms Waverly Central

The McEwen Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Waverly Central Tigers to 33 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dickson County for a non-league game on Monday, December 9. McEwen will confront a Cougars team coming off a 65-34 non-league loss to Nolensville (Nolensville, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Waverly Central falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Houston County (Erin, TN) to confront the Fighting Irish in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Fighting Irish go into the game with a record of 1-2. Houston County won 56-20 in their recent non-league game against Montgomery Central (Cunningham, TN)
