Illinois High School Basketball - Waubonsie Valley routs Metea Valley

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Waubonsie Valley Warriors basketball team scored a big 56-23 win over the Metea Valley Mustangs.

The Warriors (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Libertyville smashed Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 54-9, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Metea Valley will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Bengals come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 53-39 league loss to Joliet Central (Joliet, IL).
