With the victory, Verdigris advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Hilldale (Muskogee, OK) to face the Hornets in a Verdigris Valley match on Tuesday, December 17. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Wardogs now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Metro Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10.
