In Friday's league contest, the visiting Murray Mustangs basketball team scored a good 42-28 triumph over the Mormon Trail Saints.

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA). The Saints go into the Bluegrass contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Melcher-Dallas topped Moravia (Moravia, IA), 51-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Saints confront the Moulton-Udell Eagles (Moulton, IA) in a Bluegrass contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Mormon Trail will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 38-17 league loss to Orient-Macksburg (Orient, IA).
