Nebraska High School Basketball - Nebraska Christian triumphant over Newman Grove/St. Edward

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE) and the visiting Newman Grove/St. Edward Panthers (Newman Grove, NE), observed Nebraska Christian's basketball team overwhelm Newman Grove/St. Edward by a score of 61-20.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Archangels Catholic (Humphrey, NE). The Defenders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Archangels Catholic trounced Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE), 69-22, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Newman Grove/St. Edward will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
