The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Eastern Wayne was routed by North Pitt (Bethel, NC), 62-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears encounter the West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. New Bern will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 42-35 non-league win over East Carteret (Beaufort, NC).
