In Friday's league contest, the visiting Plano Wildcats basketball team scored a big 53-31 win over the Plano West Wolves.

The Wildcats (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Prosper (Prosper, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region I District 6 contest with a 12-6 record. In their last bout, Prosper crushed Rock Hill (Frisco, TX), 55-34, in a league bout.

With the loss, Plano West falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to McKinney (McKinney, TX) to play the Lions in a 6A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-10. McKinney lost 73-31 in their recent league bout against Princeton (Princeton, TX)
