Virginia High School Basketball - Strasburg thwarts Sherando

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA) and the visiting Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA), observed Strasburg's basketball team knock off Sherando by a score of 36-27.
The Rams (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Warren County prevailed over Liberty (Bealeton, VA), 58-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Sherando will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Applemen come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 70-37 non-league win over Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD).
