The Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix basketball team scored 84 points and limited the host Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals to 19 in the Phoenix league triumph on Friday.

The Phoenix now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Bethany Community for a game on Monday, December 9. Winston-Salem Prep will confront a Wolves team coming off a 41-31 non-league loss to North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Triad Math and Science Academy falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 1-6. Wesleyan Christian Academy lost 79-33 in their recent non-league game against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC)
