In Friday's non-league outing, the host Philadelphia Tornadoes soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Choctaw Central Warriors.
The Tornadoes (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Wildcats enter the 1A Region 4 outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Kemper County was edged by Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS), 7-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) in a 4A Region 4 outing, on Tuesday, December 10. Choctaw Central will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 3-6 record after their 1-1 league West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS).
