In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Franklin Parish Patriots basketball team scored a good 61-49 win over the Airline Vikings.
The Patriots (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rayville (Rayville, LA). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Rayville defeated West Monroe (West Monroe, LA), 75-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Airline will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Crimson Tide come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 61-47 non-league win over Byrd (Shreveport, LA).
