New Mexico High School Basketball - Alamogordo nips Portales

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Alamogordo Tigers basketball team scored a close 80-73 triumph over the Portales Rams.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls enter the non-league match with a 2-3 record.

The Rams now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lubbock Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16.
