The Orono Spartans walloped the host Breck Mustangs basketball team by a tally of 90-67 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Spartans now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Richfield for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. Orono will confront a Spartans team coming off a 104-37 league win over Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Breck falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Austin (Austin, MN) to confront the Packers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. The Packers go into the game with a record of 2-0. Austin won 71-45 in their recent non-league game against John Marshall (Rochester, MN)
