Brookings-Harbor Bruins (Brookings, OR) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR), 58-42 in a non-league contest.
The Bruins (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bonanza (Bonanza, OR). The Antlers go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bonanza was topped by Weed (Weed, CA), 93-62, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers confront the Sweet Home Huskies (Sweet Home, OR) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 10. South Umpqua will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
