The Camas Valley Hornets basketball team scored 38 points and limited the host Mohawk Mustangs to 31 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hornets now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glendale for a 1A Skyline outing on Tuesday, December 9. Camas Valley will face a Pirates squad coming off a 33-30 non-league loss to Glide (Glide, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.

The Mustangs (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against St. Paul (St. Paul, OR). The Buckaroos enter the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last game, St. Paul was edged by North Clackamas Christian (Oregon City, OR), 59-40, in a non-league game.
