Texas High School Basketball - Central Catholic victorious over McCollum

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Central Catholic Buttons basketball team scored a good 63-46 triumph over the McCollum Cowboys.
The Buttons (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lanier (San Antonio, TX). The Voks go into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Lanier was dropped by Bellaire (Bellaire, TX), 62-57, in a non-league match.
The Cowboys now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jay for a 5A Region IV District 28 match on Tuesday, December 9. McCollum will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 83-58 non-league loss to Permian (Odessa, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-10.
