Nebraska High School Basketball - Columbus succumbs to Westview

December 6, 2025: Omaha, NE

In Saturday's non-league test, the Westview Wolverines (Omaha, NE) basketball squad defeated the visiting Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE), by a tally of 73-64.

The Wolverines now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Omaha Central for a non-league bout on Monday, December 8. Westview will play a Eagles team coming off a 61-46 non-league win over Omaha North (Omaha, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Columbus moves to 1-1 on the season. The Discoverers travel to Omaha North (Omaha, NE) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, December 8.
