The Early College Hornets (Dover, DE) basketball toppled the host St. Andrew's Cardinals (Middletown, DE), 55-44 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hornets now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Appoquinimink for a non-league test on Monday, December 8.
The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Sanford (Hockessin, DE). The Warriors come into the Independent Schools test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Sanford overcame Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE), 54-29, in a non-league test.
