St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions (Elgin, IL), 54-51 in a non-league game.

The Green Wave now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Chicago Christian for a Chicagoland Christian game on Wednesday, December 10. St. Edward will confront a Knights team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Argo (Summit, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.

The Warrior-Lions (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL). The Skyhawks enter the non-league outing with a 1-4 record.
