The Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX) basketball knocked off the host Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX), 58-38 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Diamondbacks now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Edinburg for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. Pioneer will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 45-37 non-league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-5.
