The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) and the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), observed Carlsbad's basketball squad rout Hobbs by a count of 47-25.
With the victory, Carlsbad advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Cavemen/Cavegirls host Lovington (Lovington, NM) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Monday, December 8. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Portales for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 11.
