In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Spanish Springs Cougars basketball team scored a good 45-26 triumph over the Fernley Vaqueros.
The Cougars (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Miners go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Bishop Manogue topped Wooster (Reno, NV), 52-37, in a non-league match.
The Vaqueros now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Tahoe for a match on Tuesday, December 9. Fernley will face a Vikings squad coming off a 62-26 non-league loss to Carson (Carson City, NV). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
